"I'm really sorry for not being able to dine with you. Next time for sure, yes?" she said apologetically. "Of course, you are welcome here anytime. I do hope you enjoy dinner."

"Next time." He smiled. "And thank you for your hospitality."

"Most definitely!" she smiled. "If you'll excuse me then," she said as she walked towards the door.

Zane bowed to them. "I shall be back to escort you. By your leave," he said and left with Anisette.

Kyoya nodded as the tow left the room and turned to Miria. "It was nice while it lasted."

Zane looked at Anisette. "I was pretty sure I locked the door," he said. "And I'm pretty sure I told them they are free to wander anywhere so long as the door is unlocked."

"Well, I believed you would let me off the hook this time?" she said in her sweetest tone. "Besides, you wouldn't let me unwind before meeting these nobles? I had to hold out before my geass loses its off switch, Zane."

He nodded. "Yes. But I had wanted a word with you; we have a change of plans."

Miria looked at Kyoya. "That was fast, wasn't it?" she said. "I wanted to play with the lady more." xD

Kyoya shrugged. "I wanted to talk to her more as well. I guess she is just too busy. I'm sure we'll see her again." he said.

Anisette looked at him from the corner of her eyes. "A change of plans? What do you mean by that?"

Zane replied: "You cannot use geass tonight. Just play it out as the head, Anisette. And when I said you cannot use your geass, I mean for any other circumstance that may arise. Trust that I will be there when you need help."

They stopped in front of the door to the dining hall. He smiled at her before opening the door and announcing her arrival, seating her and when he was sure they were well on the way, left to see Kyoya and Miria.

Miria nodded. "You seem a bit down?"

Kyoya shook his head. "I just feel like I am becoming a bother for the Lady right now. She has so much to do and I seem to be holding everything in this household back right now."

Miria shook her head. "Don't be like that!" she smiled. "I'm sure the lady don't think of you that way. Besides, she said we can stay, right? So it'll be fine!"

~Anisette smiled at the nobles and warmly told them to dine. "I do hope it is satisfactory to your tastes?" she asked. With happy faces, they agreed. Miria's master spoke up. "But it is peculiar for your butler to be removed from your side."
She smiled in response. "Zane shall be back soon upon my orders. Fret not for he, in no way, is removed from the spot in which he claims."

Zane walked towards the study, flawlessly remembering the way back.

Kyoya sighed. "I'm sorry. I just tend to think of e being here is a hazard to her duties. Although I believe she deserves a break from those duties." He scratched his eye a bit. "The only thing is I still feel like a burden to those who are trying to mean well in my favor."

Zane opened the door to study upon hearing Kyoya's remarks. "Don't worry, sir Kyoya. You are not a burden here at all. I have a request I must ask the two of you, however, before I am able to serve you your dinner."

Kyoya turned to Zane and sighed. "I'm sorry. Go ahead and ask the request." he said with a small smile.

"Currently, the whole villa is surrounded," he said. "Most of the personnel of the villa is out there already but that shouldn't be a problem. It's the ones that has already gotten inside. Lady Anisette and the nobles are dining but the lady is not yet aware; I rather all these be done with before they are finished eating. Now, my little request are twofold and you may choose: fight or hide - for you two are our humble guests and in no way whatsoever obliged to join the defenses."

The entire villa was surrounded. How the hell did that happen? It must have been quite a speedy maneuver for them. When asked what he would do Kotaro gave a smirk. "Although I am humbled you would want to keep us safe in this event," he clasped his hands together. "I already promised to help keep The Lady safe, and would like to join this defense."

When Miria agreed to join the defenses as well, Zane smiled. "Wonderful. I expected as much from you. I extend my gratitude as early as now."

Miria looked at them. "Do you have any idea who the enemies are?"

Zane nodded. "I suspect one of the nobles ordered this."

"One of the nobles? Is the system that corrupted that they would want the Lady out of the picture?" he asked checking the weapons he had on his person.

"I am not sure if you are aware, sir Kyoya, but lady Anisette hasn't been deeply rooted in the high society. Years ago, the whole family of the House Michaels died alongside the burning of the main house except her. At that time, the lady has not yet been introduced to the high society and nobody knew of her existence; only a few years ago was the only time she was introduced. Moreover, her family have served Britannia for generations and as such, garnered quite the wealth and the prestige, that of which many have... not been pleased of, sparking rather ill feelings to her survival," he explained.

Kyoya nodded. "I see." He checked the magazines he carried and his pistol as well as his knives. "So this is a very serious matter. Where do you want me?' he said placing a magazine into the pistol.

"Yes," he said. "I'd like you sir Kyoya to go after the perpetrator himself. He may either be any of the nobles that are dining with her but I think you will know who it is the moment you see him."
Miria stood up. "And I?"
"Of course, we don't want to kill the nobles so blatantly. So Miria will be the one to find out who it is exactly should I fail to arrive in time to pinpoint."

Kyoya nodded and twirled the knife in his hand a bit. "Alright, so Miria or you pinpoint the perp, and I bag and tag him to either a body bag or a jail cell." He nodded. "This won't be pretty."

"In a nutshell, yes," Zane said. "Though it would be preferable if you capture him alive, sir Kyoya."

Miria nodded. "Really messy, I'm sure!"

Anisette continued eating with the nobles while discussing political matters. "Not to sound rude, but forgive me for asking so late in the matter, but to what do I owe the honor of your presences?"
"The usual, my lady," one said. "Though one of us here has another to say."

Kyoya nodded. "Got it. No lethality to the HVI. You have my word." He placed his weapons within easy reach. "We should move."

"We should," Zane nodded. "Let's go."

Kyoya waled over to the door and out of the room. "It will look less suspicious if you lead Zane."

He nodded. And did as told, walking out of the study first, and leading them at the hallway, quietly, but observing the whole vicinity to make sure.
